Hi, I’m Sonia, and I’m passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward better mental health. With a degree in Psychology and over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life.
My career began in 2014 as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, where I first applied Cognitive Behavioural techniques to help people manage and improve their mental well-being. Over time, I became a fully qualified CBT Therapist, broadening my expertise and working across various mental health services.
I understand that seeking help can feel overwhelming, and it’s completely natural to feel hesitant when facing difficulties. At some point, we all experience challenges that stir up a range of emotions and leave us feeling stuck. It’s important to remember that you don’t have to navigate these feelings alone. The hardest part is often taking the first step to reach out for support, but once you do, the journey toward healing becomes much more manageable.
I specialise in General Anxiety, Depression, Social Anxiety, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I understand how debilitating the symptoms of anxiety and depression can be, often having a profound impact on daily life. While these are my primary areas of focus, I also provide support for individuals dealing with symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Low Self-Esteem, Health Anxiety and many other challenges.
